FirePro aerosol fire extinguishing systems use the latest generation of patented FPC solid compound, which is the culmination of many years of research and development. When activated, the FPC solid compound transforms into a rapidly expanding, extremely effective and efficient condensed aerosol that suppresses fire.
The aerosol spreads and distributes evenly throughout the protected area, using the inertia generated during the transformation process. Unlike gaseous agents, the overall effect is achieved without increasing the pressure in the protected area. Fire suppression is achieved by interrupting the chemical chain reactions occurring in the fire, and not by oxygen depletion or cooling, as is associated with traditional (gaseous) agents.
