PURPOSE

Fire extinguishers are designed for fire ignition or initial fire of solid material which are easy flammable and combustible liquids, gaseous substances and electrical systems under pressure up to 1000 V under the technical characteristics of products

SCOPE

Equipment of buildings (residential, public, commercial, manufacturing, agricultural and mass gatherings of people, etc.), facilities, installations, vehicles and other machinery.

GENERAL STRUCTURE AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

All fire extinguishers consist of extinguishing substance, metal cylinder for storing its vent gas valve with safety valve, pressure gauge (for fire extinguishers with module H), with nozzle or hose nozzle (gun) to guide the flow, label form of BDS EMZ, seals and accessories.
Fire extinguishers works on the principle of suppression of fire extinguishing substance to the fire under the impact ejection gas.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Use of powder, water, foam and CO2 fire extinguishers of type H broke the seal and pull out its preventive pin. Point the hose (nozzle or gun) to the outbreak of the fire and press or rotate (as structure) the valve.

PACKAGE AND STORAGE

Fire extinguishers are packaged in paper or polyethylene packaging and stored in a dry ventilated space, protected from direct hit of sunlight at temperature from +5 C to +30 C.

INSPECTION, REPAIRING AND RECHARGING

All fire extinguishers shall be inspected after each use and periodically not less than once a year. Inspection, repairing and recharging is carried out with spare parts and fire-fighting substance certified by the manufacturer to repair it.

SCRAP OF THE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

Fire extinguishers, their components and extinguishing substances are discarded when it is impossible to be recovered.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFETY OPERATIONS

Do not extinguish ELECTRICAL systems under high voltage with water and foam fire extinguishers and installations! Electrical installations with voltage to 1000 V extinguish with fire extinguishers and systems with powder and CO2 with the minimum distance of 1 meter.
It is not allowed to use the fire extinguishers if you are not familiar with the safety instructions.
